Ensenada
This, the 3rd largest city in Baja California, contains a bay so beautiful that it was dubbed "Ensenada de Todos los Santos," which means the Inlet for All of the Saints, by its discoverer, Sebastian Vizcaino. There is much to see and do in this vast playground. So much that it is hard for anyone to find the time to get to it all, no matter how long your vacation, which is why so many come back time and again.
The Riviera del Pacifico is the social, civil, and cultural center of the city, complete with beautiful gardens and fountains. For the shopper in you, there is the First Street Promenade, with countless specialty shops and name brand stores to satisfy your every shopping desire. For nature lovers, there is La Bufadora, (The Blowhole) a natural phenomenon of marine erosion that throws a stream of water thirty feet into the air whenever a good wave comes in to shore, plus many other natural wonder to see and explore. And no visit to Ensenada would be complete without a tour of the Vineyards, where some of the finest wines in Mexico are made.
